🟠Mrs. Hale says, “Today wrapped up our Iditarod unit. A truly special moment happened in class when we got to watch two mushers cross the finish line live in Nome, Alaska! It was an amazing opportunity to see everything they have been learning come to life! 📹(See video in comments.)
⚫️In the past two weeks they have learned so much about Alaska’s rich history and of course our canine companions! Knox was the most well-behaved visitor and rested while the kids finished their math and spelling. The afternoon was filled with lots of cuddles while we enjoyed watching Balto!”

Today, our 6th-8th grade students participated in a Mock Surgery Experience hosted by Mercy Hospital in Lebanon. The presenters shared insights into the proper way to gown up and tools used by surgeons and medical professionals during surgeries and procedures. Students had the opportunity to feel what it's like to handle organs on mannequins, gaining a unique perspective from a surgeon’s point of view. We are incredibly grateful to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon for providing this amazing experience for our students!
