⚾️⚾️Wildcats baseball comes away with another couple victories over a conference foe. The varsity defeated the Dixon Bulldogs 9-2 & JV came back to win 6-4. The boys get a night off, then travel to Iberia on Saturday to face the Rangers and St. Elizabeth. #wildcatpride

The Licking FFA Chapter assisted with the Fall Fest at the Mill on Saturday, the 20th. Members participated in a variety of activities, including flag ceremonies to honor our veterans and remember our loved ones. We also gave mill tours, which provided an excellent opportunity for FFA students to develop their communication skills. In addition, members helped judge a wide range of beautifully restored and displayed tractors.

Later that evening members participated in the Truck and Tractor Pull by working together as a team to help park cars for the event, demonstrating great teamwork and responsibility. After their duties were completed, they enjoyed watching and cheering on the contestants, making for a fun and memorable experience.

📣📣Elementary Drop-Off Parents!!📣📣 Tomorrow morning when you come in you will notice that there is a big yellow bus parked at the FEMA end of the gravel parking lot. This bus will remained parked there in order to curb the unofficial third line that has been forming in the gravel portion of the parking lot. You will need to use the two drop-off lines moving forward UNLESS you are pulling into the gravel lot and PARKING to walk a student to the building. In this case please enter the lot off of College Ave. This is to cut down on the congestion and the potential for an unsafe environment for students and cars alike. We know that the carline can take time. But we assure you everyone is doing everything they can to make it flow smoothly. Please give grace and patience to everyone in and working the carline. We ultimately want to make sure all the kids make it in the building safely and without incident. Thank you.

⚾️⚾️Tonight was a fun night at the ballpark. The Wildcats defeated Plato 15-0, and LHS honored Coach Byron Hagler by retiring his #13. Coach was recognized and surrounded by many former players and community members. #wildcatpride

👟Cross Country Wildcats joined 14 other schools at St. James this evening. It was a fast race with a lot of new personal records. Tyrone Merdian placed 10th with a new personal record of 18:50 for a 5k!🖤🧡

The 8th grade game put out some very entertaining volleyball but eventually drops a heartbreaker to the Ava Bears in 3 sets. 25-13; 17-25; & 13-15. Way to fight hard ladies!

The 7th grade Lady Wildcats fall in two sets to the Ava Lady Bears. They battled hard but it ultimately wasn't enough. 8th grade up on the court next!

⚾️⚾️The Wildcats bring home 2 more victories by defeating Arcadia Valley 7-1 & Bismarck 13-3. The boys play a trio of Frisco League games (Stoutland, Plato, and Dixon) this week with home games on Tuesday & Thursday. Come cheer on the 2025-26 Wildcat baseball team! #wildcatpride

⚾️⚾️The Wildcats come away with two more wins by sweeping Van Buren. Varsity won 4-1 and the JV won by the score of 11-3. The varsity will play a doubleheader at West County tomorrow. #wildcatpride

Our teachers spent the day working with Step-Up Consulting, taking a deep dive into creating high-quality assessments that support student learning. 📚✨ We’re excited to keep growing and strengthening the ways we measure learning to better serve our students! 👏 #wechooselearning

The Licking FFA Chapter has had a busy and exciting start to September! Members have been actively involved in both competitions and leadership development events.

We had four teams compete in the Area 13 Ag Olympics, participating in a variety of agriculture-related challenges. Our chapter was well represented, and students gained valuable hands-on experience and learned new skills.

In addition, chapter officers and members attended the Area 13 Leadership Conference in Mountain Grove. During the event, they heard from Missouri FFA State Officers Maddy Rash and Kolton Stolba, as well as keynote speaker Carey Portell, who inspired students with her message about perseverance and not giving up when life feels impossible.
