🏀🏀The Ladycats are back on the winning track after defeating Alton at home by the score of 40-36. They will go back on the road on Thursday as the varsity will travel to Bunker for a make-up game. #wildcatpride

🏀 Wildcat Boys Basketball traveled to St. James tonight and came up short in both games. Not the results we hoped for, but our Wildcats continue to compete and grow with every game. Keep working, keep battling, and keep believing. 🐾

Due to continued poor conditions on backroads across the district, school will be closed Monday, February 2. We are hopeful for improved gravel road conditions after Monday's warmer temperatures so that we can get back to school on Tuesday.

⚫️Tonight, we recognized an extraordinary performance by Karson Walker, one that will stand in the history books. 🟠On January 10th against Alton at the Mountain View Liberty Shoot-Out, Karson broke the Licking all-time career game scoring record held by Mr. Dale Stanley, finishing with 54 points—a mark that represents not just one incredible night, but years of dedication, preparation, and relentless work. ⚫️That night was nothing short of historic. Karson set the Licking single-game record with 12 three-point shots made in one game, and added 31 points in a single half, showcasing his ability to take over a game in every way possible. 🟠His performance places him among the elite across the state: • Tied for 27th in total points in a game • Tied for 15th with 18 field goals made • Tied for 20th with 32 field goals attempted • 23rd in single-game three-point percentage, shooting an incredible 12 of 16 from three for 75% • Tied for 24th with 16 three-point attempts • 31st with 17 points in one quarter ⚫️Congratulations to Karson Walker on a truly historic night and an unforgettable achievement! #strivingforexcellence⭐️ #wildcatpride🧡🖤

🏀🩷The Licking Lady Cats hosted the Plato Lady Eagles tonight in a great night of basketball. Our JV Lady Cats battled hard and just barely fell in a tough two-quarter game. The Varsity team then took the floor and came out strong, securing a big win for the Lady Cats! Tonight was about more than basketball, though. After 10 years, the Eden Bisker Memorial Girls Traveling Trophy officially retired. Eden’s father and brother shared heartfelt gratitude for the continued love and support shown by the Licking and Plato communities in Eden’s memory, and for everyone who has been impacted by cancer.🩷 #wildcatpride
