🧡Varsity finished 3rd place overall in 2A Large Group Division, earning state qualification!

Last week FFA members go the chance to attend Wurdack Farm Education Day. They heard from a variety of presenters on a wide range of topics including virtual fencing, Alpha Gal Syndrome, forage production, drone uses in agriculture, feral hog trapping, vultures, and fistulated cow. It was great day to learn about different research and topics throughout Missouri agriculture!

🏠Mrs. Hart's Housing class wrapped up their unit on Housing Safety, Health, and Policies this week!
Students studied blueprints, made posters on the effects of fires, natural disasters, and hoarding on human health and analyzed a real-world video filmed in St. Louis on real events the city has dealt with. Through this activity, students gained a better understanding of why construction codes, safety regulations, and housing policies are necessary to protect people and communities.

- Monday Sept. 28, Mill Clean Up
- Tuesday Sept. 29, grasslands practice afterschool in the ag room.
- Wednesday Sept. 30, FFA Waivers are DUE. Parents & Guardians check your email for this wavier to sign electronically.
- Thursday Oct. 1, Wurdack Career Development Day. Ag 1 and officers are allowed to attend this trip. Students will travel to Wurdack Research Farm to learn about different careers in agriculture and hear about research that the MU Extension Program is conducting.
- Friday Oct. 2, Fall Speech topics must be decided, and your speech is DUE to Ms. Hance before the end of the day.
