⚫️The Licking R-VIII School District has the following surplus equipment for sale: 2013 Bluebird All-American School Bus. Approximately 130,000 miles. The bus does not run. The deadline for accepting bids will be noon (12:00pm) on Thursday, April 9, 2026. Reserve is set at 1,000.
🟠Sealed bids should be submitted to the Office of the Superintendent, 135 College Avenue, Licking, Missouri, 65542. The sealed bids will be opened at the board meeting on Monday, April 13, 2026. Call the Superintendent's Office at 573-674-2911 with inquiries regarding the surplus bus.

The Licking R-VIII School District will observe the MSHSAA Dead Period from

During this time, no school-sponsored practices, workouts, camps, or activities may be held for student-athletes. This is an important time for our athletes to rest, recharge, and spend time with family before fall sports begin.

🎼Reece Lozoya, Gwen Campbell, River Vestal, Taylor Hicks and Maddy Lewis spent all day Saturday at SBU Bolivar preparing for and performing at the SBU Invitational Honor Band concert. They had a great day playing with like-minded musicians and made beautiful music during the concert!

🧡🖤Our JH students took advantage of a little extra “kid time” today and had "snow" much fun during lunch in the gigantic snow mound! ❄️ It was great to see so many smiles, laughter, and students simply enjoying being outside together. Moments like these remind us how important it is to balance hard work in the classroom with time to relax, have fun, and make memories.
