The Licking History Club Hit the Road for an Amazing Educational Trip!
The Licking History Club recently traveled south for an unforgettable trip filled with history, learning, and great memories. Our group visited Shiloh National Military Park, Corinth, the Corinth Contraband Camp, and the Elvis Presley Birthplace in Tupelo. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience these important places firsthand and learn more outside the classroom.
From walking the grounds at Shiloh to reflecting on the powerful history of the Contraband Camp, and then finishing with a visit to the birthplace of Elvis Presley, this trip gave our club the chance to connect with history in a meaningful and memorable way.
We appreciate Mr. Coffey for sponsoring the History Club and making these opportunities come to life for our students.
We want to say a huge THANK YOU to the following businesses and individuals whose generous donations helped make this trip possible:
Lewis and Sons, Town and Country Bank, Jason Akers Logging and Trucking, Rinne Tire Service, Country Cross Roads Custom Cabinetry, Sherry Underwood Bookkeeping Plus, Phoenix Pawn, Friend Fitness, Rinne Pharmacy, David Hicks, J.L. Friend Lumber, Hammond Feed, Greg Green, and Progressive Ozark Bank.
Your support helps make opportunities like this possible for our students and club members, and we are truly grateful for your generosity!
Thank you for investing in education, history, and local students.
