Friday, FFA members traveled to Stoutland for the first of many Career Development Events (CDEs) of the contest season! We had teams competing in Dairy Foods, Poultry, and Livestock. Each team gained valuable experience and learned more about their contest areas through this competition.
On Saturday, the Livestock team had the opportunity to visit College of the Ozarks for an FFA livestock judging workshop. This was a great experience for students to explore the campus while also developing their livestock evaluation skills and learning more about the contest.
We are proud of our members for stepping out, gaining experience, and continuing to grow as they prepare for the upcoming contest season! 🐄🐓

The halls smelled amazing this week thanks to Mrs. Hart's Foods class! 🍳👩🍳👨🍳 Students were busy in the kitchen cooking, learning new skills, and trying out new recipes. From measuring and mixing to taste-testing their creations, it was a great week of hands-on learning. We love seeing students build confidence in the kitchen while filling the school with some delicious smells! 😋

🐾 Wildcats — Getting Better Every Day! 🐾
The Licking Wildcats are putting in the work and focusing on the little things. It’s the small details, the extra effort, and the commitment to improvement that make the biggest difference.
Because when you take care of the little things… the big things start to happen.
Proud of the effort, attitude, and growth from this group!

Licking FFA Greenhands had an awesome time at the Greenhand Motivational Conference in January!
Members connected with State FFA Officers and other members from across the area and took part in leadership workshops and learned how to make the most of their FFA experience. GMC is designed to inspire new members to discover their potential and “suit up for success!”
We’re excited to see how these Greenhands will grow and lead our chapter in the years to come! 💚
Before diving into The River by Gary Paulsen, our Lead students kicked things off with a Gallery Walk, making predictions about our next adventure. Just finishing Hatchet, they explored images and questions to activate prior knowledge and spark curiosity about what’s next for Brian.

Mr. Snellings’ 7th Grade STEM class recently had the opportunity to showcase their creativity and innovation! Students presented their product designs and creations to a panel of judges including Ms. Brandi, Ms. Heather, Officer Bobby, and Coach Gorman.
Each group explained their product, shared information about its purpose, and demonstrated how their design works. Students were evaluated on their presentation and delivery, design, functionality, target market/use, teamwork, and overall preparedness.
Great job to these students for their hard work, creativity, and confidence while presenting their ideas!
