🟠Licking R-VIII is proud to announce that we are offering Beta Club for students in 4-8th grade this year! ⚫️Your student may already be discussing Beta Club and asking questions about this national organization. If your student was invited, but you’d like more information, please attend a student and parent informational meeting on September 8th from 6-7 P.M. in the elementary cafeteria. 🟠We’ll be discussing Beta basics, member requirements, competitions, conventions, and more. Learning Labs will start at Licking High Tuesday, September 16. Scheduling is open to anyone who needs a little extra help and/or a quiet place to study. Contact any teacher or staff member for details.

🏐 Our Lady Cats JV and Varsity wrapped up a full day of competition at the Dutchgirls Volleyball Quad Tournament in Owensville! 🧡🖤🐾 The teams faced Owensville, North County, and Cuba—battling hard, gaining great experience on the court, and continuing to grow stronger together each match. Mrs. Robertson’s Applied Math class took their learning on the road today with a visit to the Economy Museum in St. Louis. 🏛️📊 Students explored hands-on exhibits about money, trade, and financial systems, then will connect what they learned back to real-world problem-solving in their Applied Math class. Students even "Escaped the Vault" with an interactive escape room lesson! 💡✨

⚾️⚾️On Saturday the boys defeated Purdy in a hard fought extra inning game 7-6. The JV opened their season by falling to Silo (OK). Come support the Wildcats on Tuesday for their home opener against Hartville. #wildcatpride

⚾️⚾️The Wildcats begin the season playing a doubleheader in Ozark. They earn the split by losing to Silo (OK) 0-6 & defeat Southwest Washburn 14-0 in 5 innings. #wildcatpride
