🟠⚫️We again had the honor of hosting Mr. Bryan Rush, as he inspired our students today and encouraged them to put on their C.A.P.E.S. and be their own Hero! Here’s what C.A.P.E.S. means and what students are encouraged say and live by every day:
C = I am cared for, and I’m capable.
A = My actions and my attitude control my outcomes.
PE = I see life as a series of positive experiences.
S = I have a student-first mindset:
● Always learning
● Always testing
● Always correcting
● Always improving
Who can stop me? No one!
Who is the hero that I’m waiting for? I am!
I’m a part of my team, and my team is a part of me!

⚫The Comprehensive School Improvement Team collaborated over the past few months to consider the next steps for our school improvement plan. After consideration of the current plan and discussion regarding how to improve and what needs to be improved, the team made the collective decision that the best way to find out what improvements are needed is to ask our community. Our last survey was in 2022, so we are eager to gather fresh feedback from the community we serve.
🟠The link will be open for about two weeks. It should take about two minutes to complete unless you would like to take a little longer to provide a written response to the last question. Responses are anonymous and will be shared with the Board of Education at the April 14, 2025, school board meeting.
👉You can access the survey here: https://forms.office.com/r/sVv65SbQpZ
Thank you!
📃Printed copies can be picked up at the superintendent's office for anyone in the community who would like to take the survey but doesn't have internet access.

📷🌟FBLA Productions will be taking class pictures for print for Elementary students and individual pictures for email only (standing, upper body crop) for Elementary, Junior High, and High School students on Friday, April 4, 2025. 🔶️Our 7th graders experienced a great day today first by visiting the St. Louis Arch Museum and learned untold stories of the founding of St. Louis, multiple perspectives of westward expansion and accessible artifacts and tactiles commemorating America’s pioneering spirit.
💰💰Then, they visited the Federal Reserve Bank Economy Museum, where they learned about financial literacy and completed a scavenger hunt for a one-of-a-kind experience that explores the economy and money in a fun and interactive way.
Exposing children to financial literacy early is essential because it helps them develop the skills and mindset necessary to make informed financial decisions as they grow older.

🧡🖤Today Ms. Edna Grover-Bisker came to talk to the fourth grade about the Ronald McDonald House and how collecting soda tabs plays a vital role in helping others in need. This year, we were able to donate a HUGE amount of tabs! 🤩Mrs. Keller would like to thank you to each student who brought them in. 🙌

🟠Mrs. Hale says, “Today wrapped up our Iditarod unit. A truly special moment happened in class when we got to watch two mushers cross the finish line live in Nome, Alaska! It was an amazing opportunity to see everything they have been learning come to life! 📹(See video in comments.)
⚫️In the past two weeks they have learned so much about Alaska’s rich history and of course our canine companions! Knox was the most well-behaved visitor and rested while the kids finished their math and spelling. The afternoon was filled with lots of cuddles while we enjoyed watching Balto!”
