Today the fifth and sixth graders went on a field trip to Lane Springs. This trip was made possible by the Getting Your Feet Wet Grant from Missouri S&T. The students learned about hydrology and geology by doing macroinvertebrate sampling, water testing and learning about how pollution can seep in the water by viewing a groundwater model.

⚾️Wildcat baseball split the varsity-JV doubleheader at Van Buren. Varsity lost 7-1, while the JV wins 16-1. The Wildcats will travel to Gainesville on Thursday. #wildcatpride

🟧Mrs. Bryant's class just wrapped up a unit on the states of matter: liquid, solid, and gas. Today, they focused on melting ice (a solid) into a liquid using different soluble materials. They discovered that salt melts ice the fastest, while baking soda can actually slow the process down a bit. It was a fun and enlightening day to be a learner! #wildcatsLEADtheway

Tonight, will be Pack the Gym night as the Lady Wildcats will take on Strafford. Start time is 5:00 pm. All students in grades 7-12 will receive free admission to the game. Pack the Gym night is sponsored by Intercounty Electric.

JH Volleyball Lady Wildcats will host Eminence at 6:00 pm in the FEMA Gym. HS/JH Cross Country will travel to Ava today at 3:00 pm. HS Baseball travels to Van Buren at 4:30 pm.
🚀 Exciting day in Mrs. Wood's class! Her students dove into hands-on experiments exploring physical and chemical reactions, as well as changing liquid to solid. ‼️After school Learning Lab Tutoring will begin Tuesday, September 24, 2024, for JH and HS Students. The Learning Labs will be offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30pm-4:30pm throughout the school year for any student needing tutoring intervention or internet accessibility to complete their homework. Our Learning Lab Coordinators will be contacting parents of students whose grades have fallen to a D or F and will encourage them to attend. Scheduling of tutoring days will be coordinated to best fit with parents' schedules.
