Ms. Casidy Miller will also be joining the Wildcat teaching family this year as a third grade teacher! Ms. Miller started as a paraprofessional with the district 7 years ago and has since been serving as the main administrative assistant in the Elementary Office! We are incredibly excited to have Ms. Miller begin this next step in her career as a Licking Wildcat!

Mrs. Kiley Sullins will be (re)joining the Licking Elementary Family during the 25-26 School Year as a 1st Grade Teacher!
Mrs. Sullins previously worked 2 years as the Elementary Library assistant and for 3 years as a substitute teacher and paraprofessional!

‼️Interested in running Cross Country for the 2025-2026 school year? If you're a student in grades 9–12 and plan to run cross country, summer practices will begin on Monday, July 7. We’ll meet every evening at 7:00 PM, except on Wednesdays.
These sessions are optional, but they’re a great way to build your fitness and prepare for a strong season. Be sure to come hydrated and bring a water bottle! 🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♂️

The Licking R-VIII School District has the following surplus equipment for sale: 2006 Bluebird All-American School Bus. Approximately 223,000 miles. The deadline for accepting bids will be noon (12:00pm) on Thursday, July 17, 2025. Reserve is set at $1,500. Sealed bids should be submitted to the Office of the Superintendent, 135 College Avenue, Licking, Missouri, 65542. The sealed bids will be opened at the board meeting on Monday, July 21, 2025. Call the Superintendent's Office at 573-674-2911 with inquiries regarding the surplus bus.

HS Boys Summer Basketball starts on June 2nd, 8-10am in the weightroom and team camp 7-9pm in the HS gym. While it's not the ending that we had hoped for, the Wildcats played one heck of a game, falling to the Fair Grove Eagles 3-4 in this sectional match-up. Hold your heads high gentlemen.

⚾️🏆The Wildcats are districts champions for the third year in a row!!! Wildcats win 8-0 & Jordan Ritz with a complete game shutout. Great job boys! Information about the sectional game on Tuesday night will be posted at a later time. The team will be escorted through town upon return home from Houston.
