⚠️Licking R-8 School District will be closed tomorrow, Friday, February 21, 2025, due to road conditions.
❄️We appreciate the efforts of MODOT, township, and city crews as they have been working hard to clear our main roads, sideroads, sidestreets, and county roads. We also appreciate the efforts of our maintenance and custodial crew for working to clear walkways and parking areas at school.
☀️We are hopeful for warmer temperatures this weekend to help the road-clearing process so that we can return to school on Monday. If snow routes are needed on Monday, we will send out a school alert message to families.
🏀The LHS Boys Basketball game against Plato has been CANCELLED. They will be back in action on Monday, February 24 at 6 PM versus Houston in the Class 3 District 10 Tournament at the Tiger Fieldhouse. 🏀⛹️
The LHS Girls Basketball team will play at Bunker tomorrow Friday February 21st with a 6PM start.
