Our Intro to Ag students are absolutely crushing their State Commodity Projects! 🇺🇸✨ These 8th graders picked their states and dove deep into the world of agriculture to figure out exactly where our food and resources come from. From tracking top products—like cattle, hogs, and hay—to hunting down "super cool" ag facts, they are putting in some seriously creative work. 🔎🌾 Next up: cutting them out and getting them ready to tape onto the big class map! #wechooselearning

🔍🔬Our STEM students in Mr. Snellings classes have been busy experimenting, testing, and seeing what happens! They’re using the scientific method to ask questions, make predictions, identify variables, follow procedures, and collect data from their experiments. We love seeing our Wildcats get hands-on, work together, and learn from both their successes and their “hmmm…that didn’t go as planned!” moments! #wechooselearning

Over the weekend, we learned of the tragic loss of one of our high school seniors. We are deeply saddened by this tragic news, and extend our most sincere condolences to the student's family. The district has counselors and pastors volunteering who are prepared to assist in supporting our students and staff in the days ahead. Thank you for the support that many have already shown toward the student's family, friends and classmates. Please continue to remember the student's family, friends, and classmates in your thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.

🩺 Learning by Doing in PBS! 🧬 Mrs. Macon’s Principles of Biomedical Science (PBS) students got hands-on practice learning how to manually measure blood pressure! This is an important clinical skill—and definitely not an easy one to master. 💪 Our students are building real-world skills and gaining valuable experience that connects classroom learning to the medical field! 👏🔬

Today is Opening Day for The Cat Shack, our school store run by the amazing students in Mrs. Kinder’s Life Skills class! 🐱💙 The Cat Shack is open during Junior High and High School lunch, giving students a chance to grab some of their favorite candy, chips, and snacks while supporting an awesome student-run business! 🍿🍫🍬 But The Cat Shack is about so much more than snacks! Our students are gaining valuable real-world skills every day—communication, teamwork, customer service, handling money, stocking, organization, and responsibility. 💪 We are SO proud of our students and all the hard work they have put into getting The Cat Shack ready! Congratulations to our FFA President Josie Gifford on being selected to the 2026 National FFA Chorus! She will join members from all across the United States including the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico to perform a variety of songs all throughout the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo!
