The sixth graders went to Bray Conservation Area near Rolla today. They went fishing in a pond, tested the water in the creek, went on a hike and learned about Missouri Mammals. Several kids caught fish and had a fun learning experience. Dwight Warnke and Sarah Elrod from the Missouri Department of a Conservation lead the fishing and mammal stations. This trip was made possible by a grant from the Missouri a Department of Conservation Discover Nature Schools program. We want to thank the Department of Conservation so much for all of their help making this experience available to our students!
