The fifth and sixth grade classes learned about how wastewater is treated at the Licking wastewater treatment plant today. Derek Hammond did a great job leading the tour and teaching the kids the importance of treating wastewater before it is released back into nature! There are several processes and tests they do to ensure the water is clear and good quality after it is processed. Part 2.
