Mrs. Woods' classes started Football Frenzy this week. Students are learning about the history of football through annotating, vocabulary, text evidence, main idea, and supporting details, as well as forming a good summary.
Throughout the week, they continued to learn additional information about the 49ers, Chiefs, and the halftime entertainment. Friday, students will construct field goal posts and finish the week with a paper football challenge.🏈🏈
Students in Mrs. Macon's Human Body Systems classes went to St. Louis University Cadaver Lab on Wednesday. First, they got real hands-on experience with a cadaver, thanks to some amazing 4th year medical students. Next, student pairs dissected pig hearts with the guidance of a medical instructor.
