Today was Read at the Park Day for students who completed all three goals of the Wild About Reading Program! We had story time at the Texas County Library, then headed to the park to play. We wrapped up the day with story time under the shade trees at the park! 📚🧡🖤
🟠⚫️The last day for the JH and HS Wildcat Learning Lab tutoring for this school year will be Thursday, May 9, 2024. We look forward to continued success next school year with our tutoring program!!

Ethan Stout finishes 2nd in the Pole Vault. Gio Chalmers wins the Discus. Sadie Hutsell wins the pole vault. Girls 4x100 (Kylee Keely Hannah Finley) finished 1st. The Licking Lady Wildcats Track Team are your 2024 Class 2 District 5 champions!! The girls won by 6 points over 2nd place Spokane 123-117. Sectionals is next weekend in Blue Eye!!
Wildcats defeat Waynesville 5-0 in Game 1 of the Salem Tournament. Wildcats defeat Sullivan 9-1 in Game 2. Wildcats will play for the Championship tomorrow against Pacific at 3:30 pm at Salem High School. Wildcats improve to 20-3 on the season.
Some of Mrs. Keller's students wrote some persuasive essays to Mr. Barry over a variety of topics. These four students were selected to present their essays to Mr. Barry this afternoon. Topics included, longer recess, being able to eat in class, comfier seating, and the inclusion of an FFA class or club at the Elementary level. The students did an excellent job writing and had some very compelling arguments! Thank you to Mrs. Keller's class!

HS Softball game scheduled for today at Potosi has been cancelled. Game has been rescheduled for Monday, May 6 at 6:30 pm.
HS Baseball UPDATE. HS Baseball will play at Salem today. Game 1 will be against Waynesville at 1:00 pm. Game 2 will be against Sullivan at 6:00 pm.
Wildcat Athletics Friday, May 3. HS Baseball at Salem potential start time 1:00 pm. HS Softball at Potosi start time 6:30 pm. Softball game at Potosi a decision will be made by 9:00 am if game can be played due to rain. Check back for updates.

Finley Sullins set a new school record in the Long Jump with a distance of 5.26 m at the Logan Rogersville Track Meet. The previous record was set in 2021 with a distance of 5.18 m.
