The Ladies of First Baptist Church donated clothing and personal hygiene items for children today!

The sports banquet is scheduled for Thursday, May 6th at 6:30 pm in the high school gym. Each athlete is able to bring up to four guests. A meal will be provided.
Our annual 8th grade dance is scheduled for Friday, April 16 from 7-10 PM in the FEMA. We’ll be sharing more information in the coming days.

Family Fun Night will be different this year to allow for social distancing.
We will be having a Family Movie Night at the Phoenix Drive-In in Houston April 16 for elementary students and April 23 for high school students.
Popcorn and water will be served, and student names will be drawn for prizes.
Movie tickets will be awarded to those who complete the online school survey at https://forms.office.com/r/VxVjdSd5C0 by April 9. (If online completion is not an option for you, please send a note with your child stating this.)
Elementary will be watching The Croods a New Age. High school movie is yet to be determined.
Families will need to provide their own transportation.

Mr. Cooper and Mrs. Haneline were busy sharing information about Licking R-VIII School District in West Plains today!

Mrs. Haneline says, “Acelyn is a Rockstar student because he is always ready to add details to our class discussions. He waits patiently for his turn to talk and is a great example to others.”

Mrs. Haneline says, “The first flowers of spring brought extra joy and kind gestures today on the playground.”

Mrs. Haneline says, “Brooklyn has read 100 books for 100 book club! Yay, Brooklyn!”

Lockers are installed in the 5th and 6th grade hallway thanks to Mr. Wilson and team!

The Lady Wildcats play in the district championship in Dixon tonight at 6:00 vs Steelville. There are no Covid restrictions. Doors open at 5:00.
HS students: Sign up tomorrow morning to ride the pep bus to the girls district championship game. Free ride & free admission. Minimum of 10 riders. Bus leaves at 4:30.

Refreezing has occurred through the night making many of our roads unsafe for bus transportation. There will be no school Monday, February 22.
