
High school basketball is around the corner! Both varsity boys and girls teams will participate in jamborees in coming days. The girls will participate in Rolla this Friday. Licking will host a boys jamboree on Tuesday, November 16th. Both jamborees will begin at 5:30.

7th grade STEM students have been building cars using a budget for supplies. They then test their cars by measuring how far they can go on their own.




8th grade girls fall to West Plains. They’ll play tomorrow night at 6:30.




The 7th grade boys fall to Mt View in the Houston Tournament. Great effort Wildcats!





A late comeback by the 8th grade boys fell short vs Ava in the Houston Tournament.





7th grade girls defeated Ava tonight 22-14. They’ll play Thursday at 5:30 for the consolation championship.

The 8th grade defeated Cabool 23-22 in the Mtn. Grove Tournament. They will play tomorrow at 7:30.
7th grade will play tomorrow at 4:30.





Both junior high girls teams are competing in the Mtn. Grove Tournament this week. 7th grade opens with a close 10-8 loss to West Plains.

Opening night of JH boys basketball tournament in Houston. 8th grade defeats Cabool while the 7th grade comes up short. Both teams play on Tuesday. 7th grade @ 4 pm and 8th @ 6 pm.





Mrs. Sheppard says, “Our class got another round of books from our book sponsors. The kids were so excited!”


Mrs. Briana Link says, "The 7th grade music class has been learning about treble and bass clef. They created their own treble and bass clef sentence posters and shared them with the class."


Mrs. Briana Link says, "Big congrats to Cadrian Hutsell for auditioning and being selected for the South Central All District 11th and 12th Grade Honor Choir! The choir rehearsed all day on Saturday and the concert was held at Central High School."



Mrs. Clonts says, “Preschool recently worked on putting together "Charlie" our local scarecrow. The preschoolers had so much fun, and we even had two WONDERFUL volunteers to help us, Mrs. Kathy and Mrs. Amanda.




Results are in from today’s state cross country meet. Each race was 5000 meters and consisted of over 160 of the state’s top Class 2 runners.
Senior JB Huff set a personal record with a time of 17:39. He finished 31st.
Freshman Levi Stout also set a personal record. His time of 18:21 was good for 80th place.
Senior Kasey Richards had a season-best time of 21:12. She finished 27th.
Great job Wildcats! We are proud of you!
