One of our Wildcat fans shared this picture last night after being impressed with and encouraged by administrators and their families who help clean up the gym after games. This is a regular occurrence and one example of the teamwork exhibited by our staff.

Licking R-VIII School District built 10 snow days into the calendar, and we have used 10. IF we would have another cancellation, students will complete AMI (Alternative Method of Instruction) packets to count for a day of attendance. Please remind your children to locate the packets teachers have given out in class and bring them home.

Our volleyball team represents the epitome of student-athlete. All seven varsity players were recently recognized as academic all-state for having at least a 3.6 GPA and having played in 75% of their contests.
These student-athletes accomplished a great deal on the court and in the classroom. They were 30-6 on the season while maintaining high GPAs.

Great job ladies! We are proud of you!

Four of our high school students in College Communications created a school improvement project requesting updated microscopes for the district. Intercounty Electric awarded a grant for 20 new microscopes and a new electrophoresis machine for our young scientists! 🧪🔬 Thank you Autumn, Cadrian, Madelyn, and Jensen for your suggestion and Intercounty Electric for donating nearly $4,000!!
