Today, a hot electrical smell was noticed in the elementary kitchen. Out of an abundance of caution, we have ended the last lunch shift a few minutes early and sent students out of the cafeteria. We are working with first responders and Intercounty Electric to assess the situation and ensure there is no threat to safety. There is no evidence of any heat, smoke, or fire.

Families of Lady Wildcat Volleyball Athletes will be hosting a candlelight vigil in memory of Kaleb Keaton after tonight's home games against Steelville on Licking R-VIII School District's track. All are welcome to join. Mr. Rick Mosher will begin the vigil.

The JV’s only loss today came in a tough 3-set match versus Houston in the championship game. They end the tournament with a 2nd place finish.

The JV is currently playing Houston for the LHS JV Volleyball Tournament championship.
Congratulations to our C team on their strong day. They took Willow Springs to 3 sets before ultimately finishing the day in 4th place.
Thanks, again, to Rinne Pharmacy for sponsoring today’s hospitality room.

Mr. Benn Sullins says….
“7th and 8th grade girls had a blast at the Expanding Your Horizons STEM field trip yesterday. Students had a jam-packed day with activities related to genetics, engineering bridges, earthquake resistant structures, microcontroller programming, airfoil design, and USGS mapping.
They were then entertained with demonstrations in chemistry and countless door-prizes.
Mrs. Keaton deserves a good dose of recognition for all the hard work she put in to make this happen.”

JV Tournament Update:
The JV goes undefeated in the Black Pool to grab a #1 seed in the Gold Bracket. Our C team also advances to the Gold Bracket after finishing 2nd in the their pool with a 4-2 record.
Our JV and C teams will play each other next. The winner will play for the tournament championship and the loser will play for 3rd Place.
A great day for Wildcat volleyball!

Our JV volleyball tournament is underway!
Many thanks to Rinne Pharmacy for sponsoring today’s hospitality room!
