These two Wildcats "Choose Kindness". Congratulations to Conway Adey and Josephine Gifford. They were chosen by the teachers as this year's Licking Junior High character award winners for outstanding citizenship!

Last week, juniors went to visit the state capitol. Mr. Stephens says, "We had a great day with Bennie Cook at Jefferson City. He recognized the Junior Class on the House Floor and the Juniors got to dine on pizza inside the state capitol."

These outstanding young ladies were recognized this morning for their academic excellence throughout junior high. They have maintained a 4.0 GPA in both 7th and 8th grades.

District baseball game for tomorrow, Tuesday, May 16 has been cancelled. Wildcats will play the winner of Mtn. View Liberty or Thayer at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, May 17 at Houston.
Congratulations to Finley Sullins (Long Jump, 100 meter), Jadyn Barnes (Javelin), Oscar Phillips (Pole Vault), and Kaida Cook (Discus) for qualifying for the Class 2 State Track Meet.
We are a "GO" for the senior parade, rain or shine! Seniors are invited to stop at Licking Christian Church at the end of the route for food and drinks with Mr. Mosher!
The Senior Parade scheduled for 6 PM this evening is still planned. A decision about cancellation or rain delay will be made approx. 5 pm. Please watch for another update this evening!
Seniors and their families enjoyed the Baccalaureate service at First Baptist Church last night. The class thanks Pastor Richardson and Pastor Lilly as well John Tyree for their words.

Mrs. Taylor's kindergarten class had fun reading books with a friend using flashlights to celebrate "F is for flashlight" on our backwards ABC countdown to the last day of kindergarten!








Mrs. Baker says, "My 7th hour Leadership class led the three kindergarten classes in outdoor games yesterday afternoon. They all had so much fun!"
