Congratulations to our Lady Wildcat Volleyball team on a great season. Lady Wildcats finish the season with a 30-6-1 record, finished in 1st place in the Silver Division of the West Plains Showdown, 1st Place in the LHS Classic, 2nd Place in the Cabool Tournament, and a 2nd Place finish in the District Tournament. Hannah Medlock recorded her 1,000 Kill and 1,000 Digs in her career this season as well. Great Season ladies, we are all proud of you.





SENIOR PARENTS! Counselors will be in the HS library tonight from 4-7 pm to assist you with registering for your FSA ID. This id is required to complete the FAFSA documents available later this winter. Come by if you need assistance completing this process.

Lady Wildcats Volleyball will play Houston tonight for the Class 3 District 8 Championship Game at Dixon High School. Game will begin at 5:00 pm. Game can be viewed on MSHSAA TV by clicking the link: https://www.mshsaa.tv/?S=lickinghsmo&B=717034
JH Basketball games this week on Tuesday, October 24, Thursday, October 26, and Friday, October 27 will be played in the HS Main Gym at 6:00 pm. JH Games will be moved back to the FEMA Gym after this week. FEMA Gym is closed this week due to refinishing the gym floor.
Golf Tournament is Saturday October 28 at Houston Golf Course. Please see attached form for more information. We will be taking a PEP Bus to the District Volleyball Championship Game tomorrow at Dixon High School. Lady Wildcats will play the Houston Lady Tigers at 5:00 pm. PEP bus is for students in grades 7-12. Students in grades 7th and 8th will need signed parent permission before riding the PEP Bus. Admission to the game will be paid for by Phoenix Pawn. Only students riding the PEP Bus will get their admission paid for. Max number of students will be 40. Parent Permission forms can be picked up in the Athletic Office. Students in Mrs. Wood's class have been working to improve using sensory details in their writing. Students were given a Hershey Kiss and asked to describe what it looked like, felt like, smelt like, sounded like, and tastes like. They did an amazing job, vividly describing this sweet treat.

The Ladycats win their first match of district play over Bourbon 25-11, 25-13, and 25-9. They will play in the championship game on Monday night @ 5 pm in Dixon. Come out and cheer on your 23-24 Wildcat volleyball team vs the winner of Houston & Steelville. #wildcatpride

Lady Wildcats Volleyball will play Bourbon today at 4:30 pm in the opening round of the Class 2 District 8 Tournament at Dixon High School. Admission is $6 at the gate.

SGT Benjamin Landers from the Army National Guard presented to our 8th grade class a program entitled "Helping Everyone Achieve Respect" (HEAR). He also presented to the high school classes on resiliency. Thank you, SGT Landers, for being with us and to Mrs. Buckner for organizing the day!


Wildcat Cross Country runners who earned All-Conference at the Frisco League Cross Country Meet: Varsity Girls: Karissa Malikowski: 7th Place Seyrena Carter: 9th Place Varsity Boys: Levi Stout: 3rd Place Caleb Barker: 4th Place Ethan Stout: 8th Place Logan Lane: 9th Place Titus Scavone: 10th Place The Junior High Boys won the Conference Meet as a team. The Varsity Boys took second overall in the Frisco League. Here is a list of how JH Cross Country finished.
