🇺🇸Veteran's Day Ceremony 2023 ⭐️We appreciate each and every Veteran and their family who joined us for our ceremony this morning. Thank you all for your service! ⭐️Thank you to our own Mr. Billie Krewson, U.S. Navy Veteran, for leading the POW/MIA Missing Man Table Remembrance Ceremony. ⭐️Thank you to Mr. Bryan Rush, U.S. Army Veteran and Leadership Coach, for delivering a sincere message to our Veterans, guests, staff and students. He shared 3 ways to be a great Battle Buddy: 1)Be a person of purpose-you are a person with great purpose. 2)Be good-always keep reading, learning and improving. 3)Be connected-it’s not about you, it’s about serving others. ⭐️Thank you to Mrs. Faith Sullins and the LHS Student Council for organizing an excellent Veteran's Day ceremony. ⭐️Thank you to Mrs. Briana Link and the LHS Band and Choir for their outstanding performances today. ⭐️Thank you to Ms. Rae Kirkwood and the FFA Color Guard for presentation of flags.

Athletes earned the following medals: 🥇Gold: Taylor Coffey, Adam Morgan, Brittany Tune, and Tea Wallace 🥈Silver: Sidney Duncan, Ryder Evans, Albert Gyory, Hunter Lewis, and Woodrow Ramsey 🥉Bronze: Emma Jones and Owen Skidmore We were able to provide each athlete and coach with a new Special Olympic shirt. ☀️🥾On Saturday November 4, 18 students plus 5 sponsors enjoyed a hiking excursion with the Science Club along the Current River. The weather was ideal, the scenery was great, and many nature lessons were shared by Mr. Billie Krewson and Mr. Wesley Holmes.
