☀️🥾On Saturday November 4, 18 students plus 5 sponsors enjoyed a hiking excursion with the Science Club along the Current River. The weather was ideal, the scenery was great, and many nature lessons were shared by Mr. Billie Krewson and Mr. Wesley Holmes. Thank you to Mr. Krewson, Mr. Holmes for leading the trip and to Mr. Jim Maddox for driving the students there and back safely.

Our Special Olympic student athletes had a special send off this morning, as they headed off to Salem to compete in the District Bowling Competition! We want to wish all of the athletes the best of luck and we can't wait to hear how it went!

Changes for the JH Basketball Tournament at Houston on Thursday, November 9. JH 7th Grade Boys will play Thayer at 6:00 pm in Hiett Gym. JH 8th Grade Boys will play Mtn. View Liberty at 6:30 pm for the Championship in the New Gym.

JH 7th Grade Boys Basketball falls to West Plains in the Houston Shootout. 7th Grade will play Thayer at 5:00 pm on Thursday in the Houston Shootout.

7th grade students in Mrs. Woods' class had to "Escape the Room" by solving puzzles on context clues, text structure, and characteristic traits.
7th graders completed the penny drop lab to learn about surface tension, adhesion, and cohesion.
