Junior High Principal/High School Athletic Director

The Licking R-VIII Board of Education is currently accepting applications for a Junior High Principal/High School Athletic Director for the 2020-2021 School Year. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: management of 7th and 8th grade with assistance as needed for 9th through 12th grade; provide leadership and direction to the District’s athletic programs and in the selection, assignment, training, and evaluation of coaching and assigned staff members; assumes responsibility for the organization and scheduling for all athletic events; hires officials and other game event personnel as needed and works with the building principals in arranging proper supervision of athletic events; arranges transportation for athletic events; verifies each athlete’s eligibility according to established physical and academic requirements for participation in each sport according to Board policy and MSHSAA guidelines; arranges field and gym practice and game schedules; and acts as tournament manager for all league and tournament playoff activities that are assigned by MSHSAA. The 11 month position will begin August 1, 2020. Salary will be based upon qualifications and experience. Full certification is required.
