Missouri Insurance Education Foundation is offering 4 - $1,500.00 scholarships to graduating seniors who will be enrolling in insurance, risk management or actuarial science courses on a full-time basis at an accredited Missouri college or university. Southeast Missouri Central Labor Council is offering multiple $500.00 MO AFL-CIO scholarships to graduating seniors. You must have a cumulative C average at the end of 1st semester of your senior year. Application and information are available in the Guidance Office. Deadline for submission is March 31, 2017.
Dent County Livestock Education Association Scholarship is available to seniors who will be majoring in agriculture or agriculture related fields and attending Missouri schools. One half of the scholarship is paid per semester and paid directly to the school. Scholarships may be awarded in amounts of $400 - $1000 dollars. Applications available in the Guidance Office. Completed applications must reach Dent County Livestock Association by April 1, 2017 in order to be considered.
Farm Bureau Scholarship Committee is offering one - $500.00 scholarship to a graduating senior. Winner must be recommended by a Missouri Farm Bureau member. Applicant must submit two letters of recommendation and include a resume if one is available. Applications and guidelines are available in the Guidance Office. Deadline is April 3, 2017.

The Licking Query Club: The Licking Query Club will grant 1 - $500.00 Scholarship for the purpose of continued education to a qualified senior graduate of Licking High School. Landmark Bank Scholarship is offering a $1,000.00 scholarship to a deserving student. Student must successfully complete a minimum of two semesters of involvement with FBLA, FFA or FCCLA; must be enrolled in an accredited institution for a career in business or vocational education; good record of citizenship and high moral character; and student's activities during high school demonstrate participation and leadership in school, church and community activities. Black Note is offering their $2,000 Smoke-Free World Scholarship to a student that shares innovative, ingenious or just plain good ideas on ways to help smokers put down cigarettes and join the world's smoke-free movement. The Career Education Scholarship: RTI - RTC is offering a scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 to students who plan to further his/her career in the Career Education programs at RTI/RTC in any of the programs offered at those two campuses. Missouri's Cattlemen Foundation: The application for the Missouri's Cattlemen Foundation Scholarship, in the amount of $1,000.00, is now available. Students and/or parents/legal guardians must be a current paid member of the Missouri Cattlemen's Association, have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and demonstrate leadership potential through extracurricular activities and work experience. Applications and guidelines are available in the Guidance Office. Applications must be postmarked by September 30, 2016. Tobacco-Free Life Academic Scholarship: Open to students 18 years or older, undergraduate or graduate students, accepted to or enrolled in a college or university in the United States. Wendy's High School Heisman Scholarship: is for outstanding seniors who excel in a wide range of sports, school, and community activities. Coca-Cola Founders Scholarship is open to seniors who have at least a 3.0 GPA. You may apply by completing the online application by the October 31 deadline. Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship: Interested seniors go online at www.jkcf.org to apply for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship. Recipients will be selected based on exceptional academic ability and achievement, financial need, persistence, a desire to help others, and leadership. The applicant must meet these minimum eligibility requirements: Must be attending a 4-year college beginning in the fall of 2016, GPA of 3.5 or above, ACT composite score of 26 or above and family income of $95,000 or less. The 2015 Prudential Spirit of Community Award application is available for students who have taken part in community service activities over the past year. The Missouri United School Insurance Council (MUSIC) Jack Holley Scholarship program is offering six $2,000 scholarships to 2017 graduating Missouri seniors. Varsity Tutors Scholarship Contest Description - Varsity Tutors holds a monthly $1,000 college scholarship contest where students write an essay in response to a monthly prompt. The Missouri Gaming Association is offering the 2017 Project 21 Scholarship Program. This program is to inform and educate our youth about the dangers and consequences associated with underage gambling. Students are to write an article, create a poster or video addressing the issue of underage gambling. Two (2) $1,500.00 first prize scholarships and Four (4) $1,000.00 second prize scholarships will be awarded. Missouri Association Mutual Insurance Companies has a scholarship program offering 8 scholarships for graduating seniors and 1 scholarship for a student already attending a Missouri University of College. Belcher Scholarship: The MSBA FutureBuilders Belcher Scholarship Application is now available. Only one applicant will be selected by our local school board to move on to the regional competition (17 districts). The selection process will evaluate academic strengths, extracurricular activities, community service and the quality of the applicant's written essay. There is no local money awarded to our local winner; but the regional winner will be awarded $750 and the statewide winner is awarded $1500. Buick Achievers Scholarship is for seniors who plan to continue their education by studying engineering or technology and design and have have an interest in the automotive industry. The scholarship will be awarded to seniors who have put forth effort both inside and outside the classroom, yet are unable to attend college without financial assistance. Shell Oil Company Technical Scholarship is offering 20 - $2,500.00 Awards. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior enrolling in engineering or geosciences. Missouri Bankers Foundation (MBF) was established to provide funding for college-level study for young people interested in pursuing banking and banking-related careers (Accounting, Finance, Ag. Business etc.). The Missouri Bankers Foundation is pleased to announce the MBF Scholarship Program for 2016. Seven $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to 2016 high school graduates for their first semester tuition payment and/or college expenses. Robin Davis Silva Memorial Scholarship, presented by Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity for Woman is offering a $250.00 scholarship to Female Seniors that are legal residents of the Southwest Missouri Region and will be enrolled in a performing ensemble in college during fall of 2016. Lyndell Featherston Memorial Scholarship: Fleet Reserve Association Branch 364 is offering 1 - $600.00 Scholarship. Applicant must be a child, grandchild, brother, sister, niece or nephew of a U.S. Military Veteran. The Missouri Insurance Education Foundation Scholarship Committee is providing four $1500 scholarships to deserving Missouri high school graduating seniors interested in or intending to pursue an insurance, risk management or actuarial science course of study in a Missouri college or university. Spencer Farms is offering a scholarship to a graduating senior. To apply for the scholarship; seniors are to write a 250-500 word essay on "Overcoming Adversity". The applicants must have been from a single parent home, foster care, or living with guardians and must be enrolled in a vocational school for the 2016-17 school year.
